Wednesday ended in a blaze of glory

It was a rare pleasure to enjoy a clear sky and the sight of the sun

This morning the skies are mottled but mostly grey and it is unseasonably mild

Pinky’s lambs (two are nearly a year old and Surprise, the August lamb, still growing) came to greet me as I wandered into the field
We hope that lambing will begin at the end of January. It’s time to check that we have all the supplies in place such as lamb bottles, colostrum and milk powder.

Forty seven years today.

With mum and dad and my brother aka the Fabulous Micky C
Three little bridesmaids – all three Jeremy’s first cousins. I don’t have any aunts or uncles or first cousins but I inherited some good ‘uns

One is now a grandmother of I forget how many, another is a mother of five grown up kids and the dark haired child is a mother of two fully grown children who I haven’t seen for far too many years. Photographs and the internet keep us all connected although distance and covid keeps us apart.

My dear husband made me a delicious breakfast of omelette and salads, toast and butter and coffee. What more could I want? Actually I don’t have a wish list and for that I feel extremely blessed. I hope he does too.
