What better way to tune out of the world and its wars than to go on a five mile walk with the U3A

And listen to a Houthi journalist spout rubbish in a Radio 4 interview conveniently ignoring the decades long war in Yemen that has left generations of malnourished children and a decimated country with zero rights for women. I’m sorry but I feel despondent today. I’m off to have a cuddle with some peace loving goats!

We really miss bob-a-job week!

If you are younger than forty five you probably won’t remember or may never have heard of bob-a-job-week. Dr Google will tell you more. Be that as it may we needed them today when two cubes of cut wood was delivered and tipped onto the ground outside the garage. She got a signed copy of “Jews Milk Goats”

And a jar of green tomato chutney and a taste of goat’s cheese and sour dough bread and crackers

If you haven’t bought or downloaded the book yet here is the link. The book is receiving many favourable comments and reviews and I have been asked to speak at several literary events – so far. Would love to know what you think once you have read it.
