Outside the Romanesco Broccoli is growing and even ready to cut and eat this evening.

The broad beans and field beans are pushing through the rich, brown earth in straight rows next to a patch of swiss and rainbow chard that has self seeded (well done!).

And some rhubarb thinks it is spring and is trying to get ahead of the rest of the rhubarb crowns. Jeremy has made orders, on line, for assorted seeds and plants and he has also begun sowing seeds in the polytunnel and bringing pots into the kitchen and colonising the windowsills.
