After our guests left and we had finished tidying the barn we took ourselves to Little Paxton to walk around the Nature Reserve.  It’s easy walking, well planned with several comfortable hides from which to observe the birds on the water…….old gravel pits that are now home to many species of water fowl, swans, herons and geese.
