We decided to use the left over and reclaimed flagstones from the barn project to make a path around the back of the new bedrooms.  Chris asked me to order two bags of sharp sand and a wacker plate.  Jewsons arranged to deliver the sand and also the wacker plate (real name – a compactor) and, true to their word, both items arrived yesterday on different delivery vans.  A high tech trailer with a grab arm unloaded the sand and it was fascinating to watch the mechanical arm and the skilled operator at work.

We ran out of sand this morning and it wasn’t possible to get another delivery today but Jewsons arranged for a different branch to deliver tomorrow, rang me back to tell me that they had organised this and spent time helping me…..all for the princely sum of £64.  That’s what I call service.
