Most of the scaffolding came down today except for the gable ends of the large barn. Next weeks the windows are due to go in and the electricians and plumbers will continue to put in the pipes and cabling for the bedrooms and kitchen. Andrew, the carpenter , has been working here for a while putting up the roof timbers and now the partitions inside the rooms and making preparation for the shiplap cladding on the gable ends. It is a delight to watch all the craftsmen working. They are truly skilled.
