We ordered a chicken house kit online and it arrived last week.  This morning, when the cooking had been done and the bread baked, the fog lifted and Jeremy decided it was time to build a home for poultry.

It’s a bit flimsy but it will do as a starter home for chickens until Jeremy can build them a better home.

The next task is to lay chicken wire under the earth so that foxes cannot dig through to the chickens, their run or their house. And then we need to get some chickens. Maybe ex battery hens who will live out their days in free range heaven!
