Lamb in the kitchen, sleeping, cats by the radiator sleeping and outside two more lambs were being born.

Lamb photos to follow later or in the morning. Toffee’s twins were a bit troublesome today. One twin was feeding but not the other. Jeremy milked Toffee and we fed the weaker lamb nearly a full bottle of her mother’s colostrum over the course of the day. Let’s hope both lambs get the hang of feeding from Toffee and that the newborn twins don’t require any help.

A big adventure on a beautiful morning

We decided to put kitchen lamb out in the paddock with the other lambs and their mums. We sprayed purple dye on her back so that we can recognise her when it’s time for her bottles.

Perky and her twins

The problem is that kitchen lamb thinks that I am her mummy and tried to follow me out of the paddock. I left her there for ten minutes and when I went back to check on her she had managed to wedge herself behind the water trough. I let her out of the paddock and she followed me back to the kitchen. Click below we will take her out again later

Back inside
Anyone remember Wiggle the lamb who followed us like a dog?

I didn’t have time to photograph

the new twins this morning as I was off to London to visit mum. I got back in time to take a poor quality photo after the sun had set

It’s Gertie with a boy and girl. Well done
The kitchen lamb now has a soft toy and two balls to play with.
Tomorrow we will let her go outside and play for a while. She’s a really good feeder
