45 years ago we celebrated the Queen’s Silver Jubilee with a street party in Gospel Oak
45 years later son sat at Scott’s this lunchtime and watched a replica golden coach and horses (hired by the restaurant to delight their diners) pass by as they ate
I think we had more fun in the old days with our sack races, plates of sandwiches and plenty of bunting. This house in a nearby village was well kitted out the other day
I salute the Queen and wish her many more healthy years reigning over us!
