Down at the goose pond Mr and Mrs wild Mallard have returned to breed

In the paddock the early fruiting plum trees are in heavenly blossom

In the flower beds there are primulas and daffs and hyacinths

  1. I will try to watch it but have a couple of things booked in already. The little black bullock is off to the slaughterhouse as he is nearly 30 months old – though hardly big enough to be viable to butcher – and Phil is very sad as he was his favourite. But Phil’s garden is not big enough for a pet cow!
