And now you’re famous Gill. I’ve been holding back from giving you my opinion on your delightful book. I didn’t want to write a megillah (lovely Jewish word) although l could. No, l wanted to put it succinctly and not bore you to tears. I loved it so much. You and Jeremy are such special people; hardworking, resourceful and compassionate. Reading about all the Jewish festivals and high holy days took me back to all the synagogue magazines l used to produce at Freedmans and how much l loved it. I loved reading about all the animals, sometimes joyful and other times sad. It was also fascinating to read about the trials and tribulations and sometimes the triumphs of Jews throughout their history. It’s a wonderful book Gill. You should be very proud of it. I hope you will be able to carry on with your very busy life at The Gables for as long as possible. And possibly even write another book! You certainly have the material. Love and good wishes for the future xx
