I was standing at my bedroom window looking out onto the field when I spotted a Mistle Thrush. By the time I had the camera in my hand the bird had disappeared.
This morning I caught sight of the Mistle Thrush on a fence post just beyond the paddock. It’s a bit too far for a good photo but it was worth clicking

Well spotted. On BBC Springwatch last evening they spoke of a single Mistle Thrush mum who lost all her eggs to predators while she was away from the nest.
