Beautiful photo. Worked out where you took it from as well! I missed the moon setting but it was so bright in the early hours this morning. Lovely bright moon this late afternoon rising over Stoke Gabriel as I unpacked the car! Hope your London trip was successful and the drives were OK.
I had an easy drive down. Masses of lorries until I got to Oxford but then traffic eased off but no hold-ups at all. Stopped for my sandwiches at Badbury Woods between Farringdon and Swindon – one of my favourite NT woods – mixture of huge beech trees and oaks. Good for a 20 minute dog stomp and leg stretch.
I normally stop again at one of the service areas but just kept going today so arrived by 3.30 – very slow round Paignton as I hit schools coming out, and the sun was really low and in the wrong place! Think I avoided everybody!
Quick cup of tea and then we took dogs out for half hour walk as still light down here in the far west!
