Down in London, every Monday morning before they go to work, my sister in law and brother drive to Tesco where they load up crates of food

The food has been ordered by the charity and paid for with donations. How have we come to this? Even The Archers (my daily radio soap opera fix) featured one of the regular characters needing to use a food bank. I know they are fictional characters (are they?) but I was in tears.
