Sorry to wake you, Mabel, but I need that box

Mabel, like most young children ( in my experience) loves an empty box. Unlike the children she prefers to sleep in it rather than to imagine it to be a pirate ship, train or boat!

I need the box because these small courgettes that I saw, just a few days ago, have turned into…….

Great, big marrows and they are going (in a box) to the Blackcat Farm shop

The moral of the story is NEVER turn your back on a courgette!
