The Giddy Goat, some fat lambs and hawthorn bushes bursting into flower

A proper Spring walk with the U3A this morning. We parked in Risely at The Giddy Goat cafe

Possibly named after the motley herd of goats that live around the corner next to the footpath
Then we strolled through Lady Wood where bluebells were beginning to bloom (it seems early to me)

Then past some pretty white lambs with pink noses

And I posed two of the group in front of a flowering blackthorn bush

It was a quintessential springtime walk with all the trimmings
