As the sun sets I am thinking about a young woman

Whose name I had never heard before yesterday evening.

I was watching the news hour on Al Jazeera TV channel and read a caption which told me that a 26 year old Brazilian singer had died in an air crash alongside four other people. Her name is Marilia Mendonca. I looked her up on Wikipedia snd YouTube and I was entranced by her youth yet her maturity, the songs (in Portuguese) and the deep love and connection her audiences felt for her. I have been listening all afternoon as I gardened. Rest in Peace Marilia.
