City versus countryside

The new normal at St Pancras Station today, where son went to meet an associate for lunch sitting outside at a pub where they had booked a table

This is the Eurostar terminal at lunchtime

Out here in the countryside there has been almost no change to nature and seasons, crops and animals. In the polytunnel there is still a plentiful supply of “spring onions” – although they have actually overwintered from last year

J has sown new onions as well as parsnips and celery and so many, many other staples of the garden
Celery
Leeks and onions and spring onions all ready to put outside when we have prepared the beds
Di commiserated with Willow. The goat is heavily pregnant and struggling to move around
She had her weekly cuddles with Spot and Susie and Lambikin
Even though we sold 25 kg of rhubarb yesterday there is still plenty left and so I made a rhubarb crumble
I will stick with the countryside as my preferred option
