This morning at 9.30 am Dame Vivien Rose was sworn in as a member of The Supreme Court of this land.

Henceforth Dane Vivien will be known as Lady Rose of Colmworth Click below for part of her oath

I was so moved by the simplicity and dignity of the ceremony which was especially difficult in these strange times. I am also honoured and delighted to call Lady Justice Rose of Colmworth a friend and one who well deserves this high legal appointment. She will serve the law, this country and the rule of justice without fear or favour and I wish her huge congratulations.
