My feeling is that whoever wins, the US is a loser. We are a loser because so many Americans are willing to overlook this man’s depravity and racism and voted for him. It shouldn’t have been this close. Instead of a beacon of acceptance and liberalism we have become a symbol of hatred, disunity, and xenophobia.
