I am absolutely rabid. I have written to my MP demanding that Cummings resign or be sacked. Over half a million people have already signed a petition on Change.org

Agreed. That’s 30 minutes none of us will get back. Very rude of him to say the least. I really worked at listening with an open mind & suspending judgement. What he said had not changed my mind, he should resign.
I’d signed the petition before the programme – and yes, both Tweeted and posted to Facebook – but after listening to his side of the story, I’ve removed the posting and regret signing, as I think that, under the circumstances, it was all reasonable.
There’s a big difference between not attending the deathbed of a loved one and potentially leaving a child alone with dead parents.
