Another slight frost this morning but think it is going to warm up a bit at night from now on.
Can I give you a tip so the fruit does not rise to top of the jam pots?
Firstly, I mash up the large bits of fruit a bit before it has finished cooking. Also I leave the jam for ten minutes or so before decanting into jars so it is not quite so hot. Provided the jars are sterilised there is no danger of mould growing even if jam is not quite boiling when potted.
I will have to make someam from frozen fruit very soon!
