It’s a start but will there ever be enough for me and my bruvva?

When we were kids my brother and I would go to the local delicatessen (rather than the sweet shop) to buy a “quarter of green olives”.

Our olive trees, in pots on the courtyard, are thriving and today I found a single, solitary olive.

I might have to live a long time to get a proper crop or bequeath the trees to my kids or grandkids.

  1. Lovely… Thought you’d smile- I have had a few gorgeous fat Mediterranean type cucumbers in back garden.. Bill and girlfriend arrived yesterday and she showed me photo of her pride and joy, an equally beautiful English type cucumber she’d grown in back yard! Cucumbers are such fun to grow- the way they lurk under leaves until you go looking for them and then jump out fat and gorgeous! Xx
