The garden comes into its own with the perfect combination of rain and sun

The squash, tromboncino, courgette and cucumber plants have grown exponentially over the last seven days.

The Garden Organics lentil experiment has nearly run its course and inside the tiny pods are ……lentils

Runner beans are flowering and French beans growing and we will need plenty of visitors (with hearty appetites) to help us eat all the produce.

The overripe raspberries make a tasty snack for wasps. We have had our fair share now it is their turn to gorge on the fruits.

  1. Hi GILLIAN
    Your garden is just amazing!
Just a plea from my hungry pigs. If Jeremy is throwing away any over ripe or unwanted vegetables or their plants could Phil have them for my pigs. I am giving them half a barrow of green stuff every evening after their official meal, and they are really enjoying sorting through it and munching what they fancy – and then lying on the remainder!
Thank you and enjoy the upcoming week
    Kate
