Isolate him until he learns to behave

The Araucana cockerel is a macho South America male who crows loudly and struts his stuff, despite being much smaller than the other cockerel in the run. He was terrorising all the birds and even attempting to mate with the goslings! The solution has been to put him out in the orchard (with food) every morning and only allow him into the safety of the run at night after all the other birds have been locked up in their houses. I would like to think that he will change but I think his genes will continue to dictate his behaviour.
