Magical night ride along Mill Road

As I turned right towards Chawston the headlights shone on Rabbits at Roxton (I so often see rabbits there at night time just opposite the Roxton garden centre. Half a mile further on one badger lumbered along the left side of the road and another appeared on my right. A mile on and a pair of eyes caught the lights from the car – perhaps a muntjac deer. As I drove around the corner, nearing home, an owl was sitting in a tree and it stayed still as I drive past. What a magical last four and a half mile drive to home.
