Lucy and Beattie were so close that they groomed each other every day. I just looked out the window and saw Bella (Beattie’s daughter) licking Lucy and Lucy licking Bella. Bless!

Ah lovely. I expect Lucy was loving to have a junior to pamper, and Bella was enjoying having female company after being with boys only for the past month!
My good news is that the kitten wandered into the cat trap yesterday afternoon before I had even baited it with food! So I fed him in there last evening, and this morning took him to the vets. They phoned an hour ago to say he had been safely castrated and would be ready to be collected later this afternoon. Hurrah!
