Yesterday granddaughter and I picked strawberries and took them to the barn kitchen to prepare them for jam making. I steeped the berries in sugar overnight and, so, made jam this morning. I showed granddaughter the three precious jars that I made last week….just for Jeremy. She turned to me and said, “But I like strawberry jam too”. I promised her that I would make her a little container full next time I was cooking.
