The Bedfordshire Good Neighbour Scheme.

We held the inaugural meeting at The Gables this evening. The idea is to match volunteers with neighbours who need help with, for example, lifts to the doctor, shopping, form filling etc. There are already 40 such schemes in Bedfordshire villages. We will meet again in June.
