38 years ago our son was born as the cherry blossom bloomed and London was bathed in spring sunshine. My mother and her friend (now 90 and 91 respectively) visited me in hospital and admired the basket and blanket. I think they cooed over the baby too!

We took our child back to our two acre smallholding and thatched cottage (without central heating!) in Devon where he thrived on the fresh air and home grown vegetables and daily goats milk from our two white Saanens.

It gives us great pleasure to spend time with son’s children at The Gables where they can learn about plants and animals and breathe fresh air and stomp around in muddy puddles!
Happy birthday to Seth!
