The sun was rising as I went out to open up the hen and duck houses and give the cows some hay. A glorious morning,

When I got to the cow barn I was surprised to see that the cows were on the wrong side of the barrier separating them from the half of the barn where we keep the fresh hay. They had a sheepish, guilty(?) look on their faces.

A hurdle had been left open and the cows had pushed their way through to the bales of hay. Naughty girls! They are back where they belong now.
