Our usual leader has a cold (wish you better) but we met her en route as she was nevertheless going to run the monthly coffee morning at the church.

Then we passed two frisky horses in the field next to Honeydon Road. They were safely behind a secure fence and they sported winter blankets over their backs.

The fields and trees have taken on autumn hues and the air was colder than of late, but a brisk walk warmed us and it felt good to be outdoors.
