In the early evening and late afternoon bob tailed rabbits play on the far side of the field near to the copse of trees beyond the wooden fence. As soon as we go outside they hop away and disappear so this is the best shot I could get.

The bird feeder outside the kitchen window is a constant source of delight with its visitors of great tits, blue tits, green finches and gold finches. This evening I snuck outside and got a good shot of one of them enjoying the peanuts.

Amongst this year’s ducklings there are two particularly handsome drakes with black heads. The grey headed fellows are also good looking but not as striking as the dark ones.
