The Woodgreen Animal Shelter small animal team made an inspection visit here this morning.  Why? Well we want to rehome five Silkie cockerels and Woodgreen have put photographs of the birds on their rehoming website.  Apparently they have had trouble with badly behaved birds being returned, in the past, to the charity.  To prevent this the team comes out to observe the birds, handle them and see if they are suitable to send out to new homes.

I am pleased to say that the Silkies behaved impeccably and they have passed their test with flying colours. Now we just hope that someone will want to give them a good home.
