The lost tabby is now in five star accommodation in one half of the field shelter in the paddock. This is a room with a window and curtains, vinyl covered floor and even a bale of hay. When I went to see tabby this morning it was asleep on the hay and very pleased to receive breakfast. I have posted a message on Colmworth T and Kate has put a message on the village facebook page and if that fails I will call Cats Protection later today.

At the far end of the field, near the oak tree, I managed to “snap” one of the many rabbits who can be seen playing in the early morning and late evening. The cats frighten them away from the vegetable garden (thank goodness) but it is fun to see them from a distance.

He looks like my Max! Mack’s noises are usual from a tom about to defend his territory. Just as well you rescued Mr Tabby.
