The plum tree flowers have fallen but the apple trees are covered in blossom and the pale pink flowers on the quince tree appeal to me more than the fruit that may follow later in the summer.  The crab apple trees look magnificent but I have yet to find a use for their tart, colourful fruits.  If anyone wants to make crab apple jelly they are welcome to come and pick them in August and September.
