Chris’s granddaughter has two Rhode Island Red hens.  They have grown too big for their garden and they have come to live at the poultry “sanctuary” at The Gables.  She has visiting rights and also first dibs on any “small hen or duck” that might hatch and become independent over the next few weeks.  

Welcome new hens.  Please keep on laying and we will keep on feeding you.
