At last Jeremy had a day at The Gables

and while I babysat poorly grandson in London he managed to tackle lots of tasks in the garden, polytunnel and fields. He (and the tractor) tilled  the ground and spread manure, he fed the geese and found their first eggs, he moved all the sheep (except for the twins, Sweetie Pie and Poppet) to fresh grass, potted up seedlings and planted the pergola with new spring flowers.  The avenue of daffodils that Jeremy planted two years ago is looking magnificent and i hope it will look lovely for our visitors next weekend.
