Why not join the U3A cinema group and go and see La La Land at Cine world St Neots.
14 Oscar nominations……you have got to be kidding me. As they used to chant at football grounds “What a load of rubbish!” And while I was fighting to stay awake in the cinema, Prince Charles was visiting the school where son in law is a deputy head. The senior staff had been sworn to secrecy for three months so I only found out about it when I got home. I think they had more fun at the school than I did at the cinema.

It is some time now since I completed my Masters in Film Studies but I can always be sure that if a film is plugged heavily on Classic fm, it isn’t any good. The voice over has a phony American accent. As I said about Titanic, ‘I have just wasted 3 hours of my life’.
Completely agree about la la land. You have to be in la la land to think its good
