Jeremy has been worried about leaving the ducks in the field shelter behind a layer of chicken wire and netting.  They have plenty of space and tubs in which to swim but at night it would be all too easy for a fox to burrow under the netting and pick them off, one by one.  So, today, he enlisted the help of our son to help him carry two hen houses into the barn and now we can lock the ducks away at night and leave the fox on the prowl for other prey.
