Born in the early hours of yesterday morning Lexy is running around the paddock this morning and Lucy is chasing after her. We are yet to see her suckle but I am hoping that she is because this little calf needs her mother’s colustrum and then milk to survive. Come on Lexy start nursing.

Lexi”s birth seemed so easy and Lucy made no fuss. One minute a pregnant cow and the next a lovely little calf. Let’s hope all goes well from now on.
