We dreamt of doing just that when first we married and then put the idea on hold until the kids were grown up.  Now it just wouldn’t be possible with borders closed and wars erupting right left and centre and terrorists around every corner (?).  So, instead, two of our weekend guests bought us a VW Camper van ….mini sized and solar powered.  And we will happily dream our youthful dreams as we enjoy our other dream of living on the land.
