Softly, softly

Picking dream fruits has to be done so very gently.  Raspberries are such delicate pink orbs that need to be taken off the canes at just the right time and placed carefully in a box and eaten before they disintegrate.  My mother loves their taste and I picked the berries this morning before the wasps and bees had become active.  Mum rang four friends last night and asked if they wanted any rhubarb.  She got four “yeses” so I pulled plenty of red and green sticks and will leave them with mum later today.
