Every month or two I turn the blogs into a hard cover book complete with photos and text.  They make a collection, somewhat like a diary, of our nearly three years at The Gables.  We can also use the books to look up dates and to see, for example, when ducklings were born last year or when we ate the first of the asparagus.  We have always had a large collection of photo albums documenting our lives and that of the children.  With photo books the photographs don’t fade and they take up less space than old fashioned albums and cost less than printing photos and buying books in which to store them.  It has become a hobby and a mini addiction and I intend to carry on until the bookshelves are bursting.
