Three families stayed at The Gables last night (the rest drove through the dark to London to buy bread after eight days without) and the children were out early in the paddock to play with the lambs.  They weren’t up early enough to feed the animals but  we hope the fresh air will have given them an appetite for the breakfast that Jeremy is preparing in the barn.
