A friend and neighbour emailed me this evening to let me know that a local HGV lorry driver had stopped by our verge to cut some of the daffs that grace our country lanes and roads. How sad. Instead of allowing everyone to enjoy the sight of these spring flowers he had decided to take some home for his own personal delight. Human nature but what a pity!
We are hoping that Wiggle makes it through the night. He has taken 100 ml of ewes milk powder and is now sleeping by the radiator in the kitchen in a cardboard box lined with straw. He is beautiful but very tiny and still vulnerable. Good luck little fellow, we will help you all we can.

Occasionally people, who don’t know better, pick some of the daffodils in our local park. But our dog, Holly, always wees on the daffs as we pass so I hope perhaps the miscreants get more than they bargained for!
