Tree protection – from rabbits and deer

One  of the newly planted apple trees had some signs of bark erosion.  Possibly damaged by rabbits or even deer (the ubiquitous Chinesen muntjacs which some years ago escaped from Woburn Park, Bedfordshire and proceeded to become feral hereabouts).  We used some tree protectors that were spare offcuts from the mass tree planting a couple of years ago in Colmworth Country Park.  Wildlife please leave our trees alone.
