Last year when our friend brought her grandchildren to visit The Gables we found a number of Cinnabar caterpillars in the garden.  This year we found a Large White caterpillar and the boys took it home in a box.  We also pulled an outsize beetroot from a long row of enormous beets …..but we just don’t know what to do with these monsters.  Whoever is passing is welcome to come and take one away.  It will more than likely feed two families!
