Seven little ducks made their way onto the front lawn as we sat eating jam tarts and drinking coffee with our impromptu ( and very welcome) guests.  The birds are wedded together and have begun to explore life outside their run although, when they headed in the direction of the front gate, I chased them back into their pen with the help of our visitors.
