We were joined, this evening, by neighbours from a nearby holding. We were all pleased to have a break from thistle bashing, weeding and gardening and the chance to chat and exchange notes on plants and animals.
They have returned to their chores and we are going to feed the animals and water the very many thirsty pots of flowers and tomatoes.
